Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Haulo trip and budget tracking application and related services (the “Service”). By downloading or using Haulo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Haulo lets you record hauls, set and track budgets, add items, scan receipts with AI, and manage shopping across multiple currencies and languages. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

2. Your Account

You may use Haulo as a guest or sign in with Apple, Google, or Kakao. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You must be at least 14 years old to use the Service.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Haulo is free to download and offers an optional paid subscription (“Haulo Pro”). Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your store account settings.

Free Pro time earned through referrals or promotional codes has no cash value, is non-transferable, and may be modified or discontinued. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refund requests are handled by the applicable app store.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe others' rights while using the Service
• Reverse engineer, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Abuse referral or promotional programs, or upload harmful or unlawful content

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create in Haulo. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. You are responsible for the content you add.

6. Intellectual Property

The Haulo name, logo, software, and design are owned by us and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our brand without prior written permission.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third parties including Apple, Google (sign-in and AdMob advertising), Kakao, RevenueCat, OpenAI, and Supabase. Your use of those features may also be subject to their terms. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. Budget figures, AI scan results, and currency rates are provided for convenience and may contain errors; you are responsible for verifying important information.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Haulo and its providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm others or us.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
